Wonderful day today, spent with J. The Gorilla trail is a charity trail around the city of painted gorillas by a range of artists so we decided on a sunny day like today we'd venture out and take a nose. We were both a bit overheated and dazzled by the sun in these photos. Today's outfit was a dress from a thrift store, White Stuff leggings and a Forever21 cardigan.

Me and my pals met up today for coffee and giggles. I hadn't planned to be out of the house so threw on leggings and a long top which I tend not to like as a combo but I was pretty happy with this look. As you can see though I ended up in Disney Store sampling their awesome dress up outfits. I and my friends try not to take ourselves too seriously (we're crazy), we had a lot of fun finding fans to cool ourselves in the hot shops and weird stuff to try out.

Still going with the 7 outfits for 7 days, though I've excluded Sunday as I spend all day in my work uniform and not sure I should be posting photos of me in it online. 

These are all instagram photos as you can tell from the dodgy quality. It feels really nice just thinking a bit more carefully about how I decide to wear things and putting bits together that I hadn't thought of. My favourite so far is the Terracotta high waisted silk shorts with the baggy cat shirt, both I haven't worn since last Summer so I feel my closet is being fully used now. Enjoying my old clothes makes me less needy for buying new ones! Hoping this will help with my budgeting. 

FASHION // Day 1 OOTD #7days7ootd

Emma over at Bloomzy.co.uk is doing a really awesome little project, 7 different outfits for 7 days. The idea is to wear different pieces of clothing each day rather than reusing the same garment and washing it then using it again. Using more of my closet would be great as I am so guilty of sticking with the same favourite staple clothing.

My hair be crazy from being in a bun but I'm kinda loving it. Here is my day one, excuse my super pale legs, they don't see sunshine too often.
