Stylish Silver @ SHOPDIXI

Image Sources 1-2-3-4-5-6-7

The Christmas season means there are so many sales on right now, I feel pretty guilty for spending at this time of year but Dixi have a fantastic offer. There is a 50% off code DIXICHRISTMAS giving half price on everything. There were several items I'd had my eye on, mostly bracelets as I've already had some rings from their store.

One of my favourite looks is the stacked bracelets. I've seen lots of examples on their site such as these ones.

If you're interested their Christmas offer is still on so get in there and treat yourself or your loved ones!

Lifestyle | Adventure Across Town

Today was very grey and dull outside but I didn't want to give in to the British weather so I wrapped up in a cozy jumper, my big parka jacket I got in Berlin and a blanket scarf like a lost eskimo. There is a retail park on the outskirts of Norwich called Longwater which has The Range, Next (with Costa), Staples, Argos and lots of other shops to amble around in but I particularly wanted to go to The Range. I'm not sure if they're everywhere but they are similar to B&M and Home Bargains I think. Really I was going to look at the stationery as I needed a cutting board and a case for my Kindle but I came away with neither.

One of the best benefits of retail parks is they often have coffee shops with great seating to watch the world go by. Although my seat overlooked the car park (I grabbed these seats after they cleared the table) the view past was of fields and trees, very relaxing. The Next there is massive and houses a home section and a clothes department with a great Petite selection too, great for shorties like me. I bought a set of rose gold rings which I'm apprehensive about using until I've coated the inside but they are so shiny!

Apologies for the poor lighting here, taken in the evening and I haven't arranged a light box just yet.

I popped into town after the retail park since I had a voucher for the Intu Chapelfield mall and wanted to get The Martian, alas it isn't out until tomorrow but I did get Jurassic World and Mad Max Fury Road instead. Whilst in town I went into the House Of Fraser Paperchase (Geez Claire have some self control) and they had stickers for 25p! I clearly didn't resist, below is the result of this.

FASHION// ACCESSORIZE MINI-HAUL

This grey Autumn weather has me a little low so thought it'd be a great opportunity to embrace the Autumn shades. I'm so into the idea of layering jewellery, especially with the variety of styles Accessorize offer with a great Student Discount. The trend seems to be for plum shades and burgundy, which I feel would be amazing with a burgundy sweater, jeans and boots. The bracelets were an addition to my bracelet stacks, along with my Fossil watch. Hope you guys like my picks, you have to check out their window displays at the moment, lovely colours and textures.

Shining Snow

Hey lovelies how're you? I've been busy back at Uni and the snow has hindered lots of my plans but I have some beautiful photos of it. I've been setting up a little desk area in my room to use as a studio space to get my design work done. I've been busy using it so don't have many great pictures yet but here's a little instagram one.

I've been using my PC & my Mac Book but it is so nice to have space for my sketchbook and things. I have clips on the wall for inspirational clippings.

I had a hair cut this week & my fella treated me to a cardigan & some jewellery. I love the chunky over the top bracelet & an armor ring is my favourite style.

Sleepy Saturday Violet

Good evening lovelies. It is another frosty night here in England, settling in for a hot drink with a blanket is the only thing to keep those nippy chills away whilst studying or relaxing, at least I think so. The little poll I made on the side said you guys would like a few more posts on general life so here you are.

Above is a montage of pictures I found on Tumblr, generally I don't advocate reproductions of work but it is fair to say I'd gladly purchase them if I'd know where they originate from. I wanted to do something different with my pin board as it had cut outs from magazines and random things that didn't really inspire me.

This is a lovely bracelet and necklace set from AnnaRack. I adore nature and these are just so stunning, you really can't tell much from my photo but they're very delicate and the line work is very intricate. I've made quite a jewellery collection now from Anna's shop, all her pieces make me feel like I'm carrying a little treasure with me all the time.

A Vanilla scented candle I bought recently to decorate and give aroma to my room. The scent is gorgeous, it reminds me of sweet foods and warm nights in.

One of my guilty pleasure is video games, I've been playing Guild Wars a lot more since I handed in my assignments for University. There is currently a weekend event so that has kept me busy, even whilst over my boyfriends (such an exciting couple ;) ).

I have a new assignment to keep me a bit busy over the next three weeks running up to Christmas. I also want to spend more time in the gym, too much coffee and sitting about for my own good!

Hope you all have a good one.

It's the Deathly Hallows

Today these arrived in the post! The beautiful items I ordered from Anna at Annarack .

Anna was delightful and made me both the earrings and bracelet as a custom order since she didn't have them in her shop. She also sent me this lovely delicate bracelet.

The quality of the items is excellent, they are durable yet delicate. I definitely feel these could be used at a formal event or as every day jewellery.

I hope you guys will check out her work:

Beautiful Birds

Another beautiful piece of jewellery, this one was a Christmas gift from my ever generous boyfriend. The necklace is a silver style chain with a plastic feather and disk with gorgeous little birds painted on it. The little beads set it all off perfectly, I am in love with this necklace.

Purchased from Nature's My Friend's Etsy. Sadly Jessica has stopped selling jewellery on her Etsy but you can still find her lovely prints on her site.

The full necklace with my wee cat.
