Stationery | Norwich Guide | Paperchase

Norwich has very few stationery shops, however I thought it would be nice to share the best with any one who might wish to visit. The first in this guide is Paperchase on Castle Street, it is only a few minutes walk from the Castle and a minutes walk from the Castle Mall. There is actually a second store in House of Fraser but this will focus on the main store on the high street. This particular store has always offered the best customer service, staffed with friendly, keen to help people who're never too busy for you.

Paperchase is a national chain as far as I'm aware and they offer a handful of different ranges at any time. Currently they have Valentines, Get Organised, Get Fit, Parkano and Wild At Heart, each of which has their own binders, notebooks, organisers, pens and sometimes even cups and stickers. They constantly have a large range of under £10 pens ideal for people on a budget whilst studying. There are glass cases with premium pens and accessories including Kaweko, Parker and Cross. I often find myself gazing in at these beautiful items and wishing I had more bountiful finances.

If you're a keen list maker or love the Moleskine format they have their own selection 'Noto' that offer very similar insert styles with a range of colours pleasing to the eye. If you're looking for the more traditional they also sell Filofax planners and inserts at reasonable prices.

Beware the sticker stand near the check out it catches me very often and I end up buying lots of super cute stickers (not really a bad thing).

    1. I haven't been to stationery stores in the US, I've only been to Florida for the Disney/Universal Parks but would love to go to New York to see specialist stores there. I live in a city which is considered pretty small in comparison to London so you rarely get a variety of shops.

    2. bigger older cities like NY still have still great stationery stores but everything else the US is big box corporate chains in forgettable strip malls. printers & chinese-made composition notebooks. its dismal. i hate it...
