BEAUTY // BATHE LIKE A QUEEN OF DRAGONS

With all the buzz around Game of Thrones recently it seems apt to create a review of a great product I tried recently, the Dragon's Egg by LUSH.

Dragon's Egg is a bath bomb with a sweet and citrus scent, with flecks of colour through the product you wouldn't imagine what lays inside. I dropped it into the hot water and when it had almost diminished completely an egg shape cracked revealing golden glitter and turned the water a warm golden colour. It felt like a Cleopatra level of glamorous, surrounded by glitter and gold. It was refreshing and my skin genuinely felt so soft afterwards.

If you love fruity Spring fragrances with a hint of zest then this is a golden investment.

I will definitely be buying this again, why not treat yourself this Easter? I'm sure Daenerys would appreciate this product too.

FASHION // WOMEN OF WESTEROS

It is no secret that I am a huge Game of Thrones - A Song of Ice & Fire fan. Already having read through the majority of the books (on the last one of the series so far) and watched the TV series' too many times it was joyous to see the ladies of the cast glamming it up on the red carpet. I adore how they don't tke themselves super seriously and seem to have bundles of fun.

I adore all the outfits, Maisie (Arya) looks so stunning in her 50's style floral dress. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) just looks so beautiful in her blue floor length gown. She is definitely one of my key inspirations for a fit and toned physique, I hope some day to be as slender as her :).

Halloween Orange

Halloween is near, well sort of. So I have been getting my items together for my outfit, which if you missed my post about it is Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. The corset isn't perfect for her outfit but it is something I think she'd likely wear as it has that leather feel for her Dothraki side and the silk for her Targaryen side. The wig I picked up from ebay and I just hope it is the right style as I haven't even opened it yet.

My friend also took a trip to Florida over the holidays and brought me back some amazing sequin Minnie Mouse ears so if there is a party where I don't fancy really dolling up as Dany I'll likely wear these. She also got me a keyring, cookie and a pencil! Truly lovely friend I have :).

What are you doing for Halloween? Do you have a costume planned?

Holiday in Westeros

At the moment I'm holidaying in Northumberland and all the scenery is much like Westeros (Game of Thrones) with its castles and rugged coast line. I wanted to put together an outfit that suits the theme.

Leggings, Pleated Shorts, Fur Gillet, Boots, Purse, Feather Hair Accessory. I'd pair these with a plain white t-shirt and some leather bracelets.

Not So Sunny Sunday

Here is my past week or two;
1: I started my eat clean, work out hard and look after myself in general plan. These are the shorts I want to be able to button up soon.

2: I'm sure I'm far from the only woman that has purchased two of the same magazine for these lovely Benefit freebies. I had literally a week ago thought I needed a new Bad Gal mascara and this comes along, sample size for just £2. I also got pore-fessional :).

3: I've been reading lots of The Song of Ice and Fire series, this is book 4. I love this series and can't recommend it enough to fans of fantasy/medieval style books.

4: Enjoying the little bit of sunshine with my friends and my boyfriend. This photo was taken by my boyfriend, I'm pulling an odd face but I do like this photo.

Caption 'Not So Sunny' kind of sums up how the weather has been but also my up and down moments.
