Tank Tops To The Rescue

Tank tops are such an easy go-to basic for any outfit. They can be matched with a pair of denim shorts for hitting the beach or a high waisted pencil skirt for casual/smart outfits. Personally I love this girl print H&M tank top, featuring crazy illustration collage of girls. It has the creative element for my inner art geek but also that easy to match black and white with dashes of colour for my fashion side.
Not to forget the ever so simple neutral tank tops, perfect for the summer or for layering in the cooler months, which in Britain is most of them to be honest. I find Zara, Mango & River Island offer the best value for money, with durable but soft fabrics which last through several washes at least.

Uni requires comfortable clothes that don't take too long to make an outfit from so these really do the job. I buy a selection of neutral browns and greys for my grey or navy jeans & bright or pastel colours for black skinny jeans.

If you're in a messy job or study art then Primark offer a great selection of super cheap tops like this which would be less annoying to get paint over. Also if you're handy at screen printing they're great to print crazy patterns on to.
